Gui Rezende fuses a passionate appreciation of his musical roots in Brazil with a deep love of American & British music to create a unique guitar style and sound, citing influences as varied as Curtis Mayfield and Caetano Veloso. Gui boasts a wealth of experience performing in the UK, Europe, and the US, having supported Sting, Stereophonics, Alanis Morisette and James Bay while touring with emerging British artist Alex Francis, and working with The Kondoors (Jessica Greenfield and Gavin Conder). Live, with the help of a loop pedal, you can expect a mesh of re-imagined contemporary and classics. Colourful, original interpretations of all manners of Soul & Pop music.
Quaglino’s rich history of incredible live music goes all the way back to the British Jazz and Blues scene of the 30’s – which is why, today, we’re incredibly proud to continue that wonderful legacy of incredible entertainment 7 days a week.
